Mac penultimate eyeliner

For someone like me who prefers subtle makeup It is a must using an eyeliner (long wear eyeliner) as once i leave the house i have no looking back for almost 5-7 hours. Todays review product is the mac penultimate eyeliner. 

What: mac penultimate eyeliner in black 

It is an eyeliner in a pen form. 

How: drag the eyeliner tip on the upper eye lid (even lower if you wish to) 

Thought: there is no doubt that pen eyeliners are easier to use and more precise.being used pen liners from other brands Mac's penultimate eyeliner was a disappointment for me. 

 Pros: 

•good grip 

•travel friendly 

•available in different colours. 

Cons :

• doesn't glide smoothly 

• insufficient flow of eyeliner 

• smudges 

• fades 

• not long wear 

3 Things to remember while buying an eyeliner : 

• glide on smoothly 

• a good grip 

• a pointy tip 

Conclusion :

Being disappointed with mac as they did say its pro longwear and blah! i prefer the colorbar pen eyeliner.

Would i repurchase : 

i wouldn't buy the mac eyeliner but i willdefinitely buy the colorbar eyeliner

The new nail fad mattenailness 

What- faces matte nail enamel range. 

How - apply two coats and let it dry. Viola you have matte nails. 

Thought- personally i am love with this nail enamel range. Initially i just purchased one and wanted to try it on my nails immediately. After i got my nails done with the matte nail enamel in love you matte i couldn't stop staring at my fingers and toes.

Pros- 

•long wear 

• two even coats are enough 

•opaque 

•doesn't chip  

•available in 6 vibrant single shades. 

Cons-

•a little pricey considering faces. 

•takes its own sweet  time to dry completely. 

would i repurchase- yes ( provided no other renowned brand comes up with matte finish nail enamel. 

Matte / glossy for the next manicure - definitely matte

It soothes irritated skin.

• pink toned 

• thick texture 

• darker skin tones may have difficulty to find the right shade as its available in only 3 shades 

Tips - 

• this bb cream dries really fast i recommend applying it sections 

• works wonder for normal to combination skin 

• for those who have dry skin apply this product on your daily moisturizer 

• if you have sensitive or highly sensitive skin use carefully as this can cause breakouts (i have sensitive skin and certain areas on skin had breakouts) 

•i wouldn't recommend applying another layer for building more coverage 

• use concealer where extra coverage is needed and dust it lightly with a setting powder

Wondering how to make your lip gloss last long ? Here are a few steps you would need to follow :

Step1- exfoliate

Exfoliate your lips with a lip sugar (if u dnt have a lip sugar simply run your tooth brush gently on your lips or mix sugar and butter and scrub your lips ) to remove flakes from your lips 

Step 2- moisturize

Moisturize your lip with a lip butter or a lip moisturizer 

Step 3 - line your lip 

Line and fill your lip using a lip pencil of the shade similar to your lips or your lip gloss 

Step 4- apply a lipstick 

Apply a lipstick similar to the colour of the gloss 

Step 5- apply the lip gloss 

Apply the lip gloss with a lip brush 

Tips :

2--Filling your lip and applying lipstick act as an adhesive to the lipgloss which makes your lipgloss stay longer

-24hrs stay (doesnt rub off with normal activity ) 

-fragrance free 

-oil free 

-matte /dewy texture 

-spf 20 

-think consistency makes it a good under eye concealer 

-doesn't require powder on top (provided the climate is not humid)

-medium to heavy coverage 

-2 to 3 dots are more than enough to cover the whole face 

Cons -

-thick consistency 

-cake s up if face is not moisturized well 

-the packaging is in a heavy glass jar (not travel friendly) 

-the thick consistency could clog pores .

Application:

Blends well with fingers instead of brushes 

I feel the warmth of the fingers melts the thick consistency of this foundation and blends it amazingly

-The packaging pops out and makes you grab it! Signature YSL logo on a golden tube embossed makes it regal.

-This beauty here is smooth and creamy alright – lots of them are! – but then silky? absolutely

-I am not sure I can actually describe the texture right in words, but it glides on smooth and creamy . 

Almost a consistency between solid and fluid!

- texture is the best part of the product

- can just as easily skip those glosses

-moisturizing ,does not dry your lips one bit!

- is quite heavily pigmented and thats maybe why it lasts long

-stays almost as is – for 3-4 hours easily

-the colour is a bit bias , suits fair skin tones as the colour is a pop of pink

I wonder why they named it fix+ 

This is NOT a makeup fixing or setting spray 

Its a refreshing or finishing mist 

One can use this before or after makeup 

This mist gives a dewy finish and can be used in various ways :

1- apply your fav foundation blend it well and let it set for a min or 2 and spray the fix+mist and press dab it with a sponge do NOT rub 

2- apply your foundation set it with your fav powder and spray the mist on the entire face . This will give a dewy finish and not make you face look powdery 

3- spray your eyeshadow brush with some fix+ and den use your eyeshadow . This will help it stay on your eye lids

-Spray the mist holding it away from your face. 

This mist is amazing if you want a dewy look .
