September favourites💟

I Hi my angles,

September being my birthday month i did quite a bit of shopping and have also tried a lot of new products which have turned out to be my new favourites, so lets get started. 

*In no particular order*

1- colorbar eyeshadow stick 

I purchased this new colorbar eyeshadow stick and I absolutely loved it since the day i started using it 

This is available in 4 shades i went for this one as its very suitable for everyday use. Its super blendable,and looks very pretty on the eyes 

2-loreal paris gel intenza 36h eyeliner 

I have been using this eyeliner almost for 2-3 months now and i cant stop using it 

Its got the perfect formulation. 

I have constantly been using the shades 

-black diamond and 

-blue sapphire

3-makeup studio 3d mascara 

Recently i have had an obsession with long,flirty and luscious lashes and having an allergy to eyelash glue i cant use falsies but this mascara has been a helping me achieve that look. 

4- benefits pore-fessional 

The name says it all, its a cult classic prpdcut. It is by far the best primer i have ever used.

5- nail polish 

I have painted my nails the same way over 3 times in the month of september. Need i say more? 

Pale pink- maybelline colourshow in constant candy

Bright pink- faces high shine nail colour in capri island

6- colorbar lipstick in candy rose 

For the lipstick lover in me who is constantly switching up between nudy pinks and mauvey pinks i have been absolutely crushing over this lipstick  and have reached for this lipstick in all occasions be it just a casual day or a night out  

7- faces glam on lipgloss 

I have always been a fan of faces lipglosses as they add the right amount of colour and shine 

This one is no different. 

It adds the perfect amout of pink and sheen to my lips. Just perfect for everyday. 

8- lancome cushion-on-the-go

This product was so hyped on the internet world that i had to try it and it was not at all disappointing.

This product gives the perfect radiant look and glow we all want our skin to have. 

It is extremely light weight , just like second skin. 

9- urban decay naked basics eyeshadow palette.

I have been wearing eyeshadows from this palette almost everyday. 

Walk of shame(w.o.s) is my favourite all over lid colour 

Foxy and venus togther make a beautiful browbone and tear duct highlight

10- beauty blender 

Last but not the least the beauty blender. I cant do my make without this. It just blends everything flawlessly and gives and airbrushed finish.

Today i am reviewing the garnier white complete facewash and face cream which i revieved a month ago. 

Product description: Exposure to sun, pollution and harsh environmental conditions makes skin appear dull and dark. Garnier Light Fairness face wash is an effective daily face wash that helps you recover a clear, radiant, even complexion. Enriched with exfoliating pure lemon essence, its formula cleanses and clarifies the skin thoroughly and removes impurities that make the skin dull.

Claims-  to give 1 tone fairer skin in one wash

Review:

The face wash comes in white and yellow tube just like any other products from this brand. The face wash is white and creamy in texture. It has a very mild lemon fragrance which vanishes after washing the face. Due to the cream base it doesnt lather very well. I usually use this at night so it could clean my face from all dirt and pollutants. As a face wash it did its job well and left my face squeaky clean and fresh. Personally i am not a fan of whitening or brightening products, however  I didn’t notice any long term brightening effects on my face. It just gave a temporary glow or brightening immediately  after the wash. I have sensitive combination skin which tends to dry in winter. After using this face wash I have to apply a moisturizer or the matching face cream  as it makes my skin pretty dry. So I would like to call this an average facewash  nothing too extraordinary about it.

Pros:

- the texture is creamy

-leaves the face extremely clean

-removes all dirt 

-leaves a subtle glow 

-suitable for all skin types 

Cons-

- feels a little drying on the skin

-has a mild lemon fragrance

What the product says: 

1. Instant whitening :provides instant whitening.
2. Sun protection: protects skin from further darkening by harmful UVA and UVB sun rays.

3. Lasting fairness: makes you two tones fairer in 2 weeks.]

How to: 

Apply this cream in the morning to a cleansed face and gently massage from the center of the face outward. 

Price: rs 150 for 40gms 

Review-  this cream comes in a small tub which is very travel friendly as its plastic. The cream is thick and creamy in texture. When applied on the face it leaves a white cast which needs to be blended very well amd very quickly before ut dries on the skin or else ull end up tugging your skin. It leaves a slight residue behind which can be a no no for oily skin beauties and a boon to the dry skin lovelies.the biggest plus point of this cream is that it has SPF in it so no more layering sunscreen . As I have been using this cream for a month now and i can clearly state the pros and the cons 

Pros: 

-the texture just like the face wash is very creamy 

-it is hydrating 

- has SPF 

Cons-

-it has a strong lemon fragrance

- you need to apply this quickly as it fries up very quickly 

-leaves a residue

OVERALL VIEW: now that i have been using these two products  for a month now, i have not liked the cream at all but i am quite happy with the face wash. 

I wouldnt repurchase the cream but would definitely buy the face wash again.

First impressions on plumping lipbalm

Hi girlies 

I know i have been gone for long. I am extremely sorry 🙈

None the less i am back for good this time with even more reviews ,products and makeup looks too☺️

Lets get started! 

What: biotique botanicals plumping lip balm (bio berry)

I made a trip to my local drugstore to get hold of my favourite himalaya lip balm as it was outstock i purchased this one as it was right next to the himalaya stash! 

Claims: well! This lip balm claims to plump lips giving them a swollen bee stung look and redefined contours! 

(the packaging that states so.)

Price: 145rs 

First impressions and review: 

I used it for the first time today morning. And i had mixed feelings about it. 

When you first open it , it looks like a red tinted lip balm which will give your lips a nice hint of colour

Impressions:

I was very impressed when i first applied it to my lips , it glided on like butter and felt extremly moisturizing. My lips looked glossy with no colour. It is very buttery in texture however the downside to this the ayurvedic recipe used to make this plumping lip balm is the smell, it smells likes medicinated butter. And also ir does not do what it claims to do. 

The  lip balm  was not even 1% plumping. 

Hits:-

• very soft 

•glides on smoothly 

•very moisturizing 

•light weight 

•slightly greesy

Misses:- 

• smells like medicinated butter 

•does not do what it claims to do 

•no colour 

Final verdict:

I am disappointed that it didnt do what it claimed to do.  

L'Oreal Paris moist matte lipstick review+giveaway

Hello beauties. I am so sorry I have been away for quite some time but I am back. 

Today I am reviewing the L'Oreal Paris moist matte lipstick in "flaming kiss" (R518)

I have been on a hunt for a good coral red lipstick shade and when I was received this shade I was more than happy. This shade suits all Indian skin tones without looking too flashy or tacky. 

What: moist matte lipstick in flaming kiss. 

Packaging: loreal is one of those brands which have a very classy packaging be it their skincare products or makeup. These lipsticks come in a very classy and pretty rose gold coloured rectangular metal container with a swatch of the lipstick shade on one side.

My thoughts: 

 As the name says "moist matte" the lipsticks provides a matte finish. It provides a good colour payoff. I really like this shade as it is not too flashy and suits my skin tone perfectly.

•moisturizing 

•doesn't settle in fine lines on the lips 

•doesn't transfer( after blotting) 

•a wide selection of colours. 

•easily available 

•suitable for most skin tones

My thoughts :just reading vibrant colour and glitter i was attracted towards the collection. I cant wait to get my hands on this collection. 

Products i am excited about: 

1-Being an eyeliner girl i want to try on the gel matic eye liner which is affordable  and in a way unique with a gel liner in a twist up form 

2- being someone who is always in a rush and wants something that is going to last me the entire day the lipsticks are what i am eyeing on. 

I am definately going to try these products. 

Will be posting a review as soon as i get my hands on them and start using them.

L'Oreal paris caresse shine

hey beauties ,

Its spring / summer time all we pretty girls  don't want to wear a sticky gloss or a heavy lipstick. 

We want something that is light but yet gives us that awesome pout. 

And L'Oreal paris has taken care of those needs with their caresse shine range. 

What L'Oreal says about the Shine Caresse Lip colors :
The next generation lip colour, that combines the texture & shine of a gloss with the long wear of a stain. Delivering a lasting colour with a subtle glossy shine. The unique formula comprised of 30% water and 60% oil provides an exceptionally high level of moisture, allowing for 6hr hydration. Concentrated soluble colour pigments create a subtle wet look with a weightless feeling on lips.

Packaging :

It comes in a very classy ysl type golden coloured tube. It is light weight with a Tranperant section through which one can identify the colour of the stain (which is boon for all the hoarders) 

Purchased: I purchased 3 shades 

1- 605-eve

2- 604-bella 

3- 606-Lolita 

My experience :

I wore the shade 606 Lolita which is mauve ish colour to a formal presentation as i wanted to add just a hint of colour i applied it around 8 am in the morning and checked it only after my presentation got over around 12. It was fairly glossy at this time i had coffee in between and to my surprise it did not transfer like a lipstick which was amazing. 

By 2 pm the gloss had faded but the stain was there on my lips making it look as i was wearing a lipstick when i was not. I had to reapply it around 5:30-6 pm as i was heading over to party and i did applied 3 coats and it was a beautiful opaque mauve colour. The colour is buildable but you want to make sure you apply the second coat only after the first coat sets in. As the colour tends to look darker after it sets it. 

It is definately my favourite lip stain. 

 

Pros:

•light weight (almost like water) 

•glossy 

•non sticky 

•sleek pakaging 

•easy application 

•good staying power 

•buildable colour 

•travel friendly 

•easily available 

•suitable for beginners 

Cons: 

•has to be applied carefully 

• has to be applied several times( on pigmented lips) 

Advise: 

If you have dry lips use a lip butter or lip balm before you apply the stain. Not using a lip balm beneath can make your lips look drier. 

My thoughts:

For a girl like me who prefers gloss and stains over lipstick this product is definately a boon. 

It is perfect for any time of the year. 

It has a soft pleasent scent. 

I dont have to worry about reapplying as it stays on for a good 4-5 hours and even after the gloss fades away the stain is there to stay. Thats a bonus. 

The only thing i disliked about this product was that it needs to applied carefully because it can bleed and once it sets in you cannot erase any mistakes.

Final verdict:

I have been obsessing over these since i got them. I just apply one sheer coat for the day time and build the colour for the night. 

This is definately a must have for all the girls.

What- colorbar coloured mascara 

How: 

1: turn the wand inside the tube and pull upwards

2: clean off excess mascara on the tip of the wand on the rim of the bottle 

3: starting from the roots of your lashes wiggle in an upward motion 

4: apply multiple coats to enhance the colour

Thoughts : 

Since the time i have purchased this mascara my black mascara is pleading some attention! 

It adds a very subtle colour to your everyday look. 

I really liked how it just defines my lashes and adds a subtle hint of colour. 

This is great for working and busy beauties.

-electrifying blue ( grear for clubbing and parties) 

-green
